How Are We Keeping Patients Safe? COVID-19 Policy

We require you to wear a face covering. Be sure to apply sanitizer and glove up!

We require you to let us know:

  • If you have respiratory symptoms including fever and/or cough with or without shortness of breath or any other flu symptoms in the last 14 days.
  • Have you been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past 3 weeks?
  • If you have a fever, your appointment will be rescheduled. The CDC states that a fever is 100.4°.
  • Have you tested positive in the past 14 days?

How Do IV Vitamin Infusions Work?

IV, which stands for “intravenous” infusions, work by administering fluids and electrolytes directly into the bloodstream in order to receive them in a quick and safe manner. Cell absorption of the vitamins is 100% as it bypasses the digestive system and enters the blood immediately. A small needle is placed in your arm and the fluid is administered over a 45-60 min process.

How Long Does IV Vitamin Infusions Last?

After an IV infusion, you will continue to feel the effects of hydration for three to four days, and the vitamins will stay in your system for up to two weeks.

Who Administers the IV Vitamin Infusion?

IV Drips are administered by state-licensed registered nurses.

How Often Should I Have an IV Drip?

The frequency of IV vitamin infusion is determined on an individual basis to best suit your needs. For preventative health and wellness, we recommend two IV drips per month to help balance out any vitamin deficiencies or less than ideal eating habits. In some cases, with people who suffer from autoimmune diseases or conditions, continued IV vitamin infusion may be necessary for nutritional support. If you are physically active and endure tough workouts, you may need an IV drip more often to help boost metabolism and increase recovery.

Can I Have an Allergic Reaction to IV Vitamin Infusion?

At prosperIV® we always ask about allergy information before providing any treatments. Allergic reactions to vitamin infusions are extremely rare but can occur if a patient has an allergy. All vitamin information about IV Drips can be provided upon request.

B Vitamins

B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B12

The Prosper, Brain Power, Reset, Quench, 4 the Ladies, Migraine Relief

The whole B-complex of vitamins work together to activate the immune system, boost mood and energy, maintain healthy nerve function, and suppress inflammation. You’ll notice healthy, beautiful hair, skin and nails!

Recommended for:

  • B1 (Thiamine): Necessary for the growth, development, and function of every cell in our body. Significantly depleted after heavy alcohol use.
  • B2 (Riboflavin): Plays a major role in cellular energy production and metabolism of fats and drugs.
  • B3 (Niacin): Helps lower cholesterol, assists in brain function and acts as an anti-inflammatory. Our bodies need Niacin to make the all-important coenzyme, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD). (See below on NAD)
  • B5 (Pantothenic Acid): Plays a big role in producing and regulating both sex and stress-related hormones.
  • B6 (Pyridoxine): This very busy vitamin is involved in more than 100 enzymatic reactions that are mostly concerned with protein metabolism.
  • B7 (Biotin): Supports better skin and stronger hair and nails. An essential vitamin used to convert carbohydrates, fats, and proteins into energy.

Lysine

Glow, Recover & Performance, 4 the Men

Lysine is one of the essential amino acids our bodies cannot make that we must obtain from external resources. It is known by cold sore sufferers for its ability to help prevent HSV-1 from replicating, decreasing the duration of pesky sores. Lysine also helps with anxiety by reducing levels of the stress hormone cortisol.

Recommended for: Cold sore prevention/decreasing severity or to combat feelings of stress and anxiety.

Magnesium

Migraine Relief, Reset, Quench, For the Ladies

Magnesium is a potent vasodilator and often used for migraine treatment and muscle recovery.  It also helps regulate muscle and nerve function, and may help with anxiety.

Recommended for: Migraine and headache sufferers! Magnesium also helps regulate mood, improve sleep quality, and decrease anxiety.

B12 (Methylcobalamin)

The Prosper, For the ladies, Migraine Relief, Immunity, Reset, Brain Power

B12 is an essential precursor for the production of ATP, the body’s energy source. It is required for proper red blood cell formation, neurological function, cell metabolism, and DNA synthesis.

Recommended for: When you’re feeling fatigued or feeling run down. B12 is a must for vegetarians or those who consume very little meat, after periods of heavy alcohol use, and for extra metabolism support. Get a B12 boost in your arm or add it to your drip!

Vitamin C

The Prosper, Immunity, Reset, Glow, and Migraine Relief

Vitamin C decreases the duration and severity of cold symptoms, increases immunity, helps produce collagen for healthy skin, and aids in removing free radicals from the body through its antioxidant properties. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Recommended for: Part of COVID prevention, for overall health and wellness, during cold and flu season, before you travel, and at the onset of illness.

NAD+ (The “Anti-Aging Molecule”)

So special it is its very own drip!

One of the most abundant molecules in the body, NAD protects every cell’s DNA mitochondria, increasing energy levels and keeping cells reproducing effectively. As we age, NAD production declines and its activity gets weaker. Low levels of NAD are associated with aging signs on the outside but also symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome and mental “fog.” If you boost NAD levels, you boost metabolism, mood, energy levels, mental clarity and more. NAD is also proven beneficial in conjunction with addiction treatment, as it plays a large role in restoring neurofunction.

Recommended for: When feeling sluggish or experiencing “brain fog,” or during periods of heightened anxiety/depression.

Selenium

Immunity, Quench, Reset

Selenium plays a major role in immunity and in fighting off oxidative stress to decrease inflammation.

Recommended for: Cold and flu season, COVID protection, and times of high stress.

Taurine

Glow, Recover & Performance, 4 the Men, The Brain Power

Taurine is an amino acid that may play a role in regulating and promoting healthy metabolism. Some research supports taurine’s role in boosting testosterone levels, energy, and enhancing athletic performance. It’s critical in the function of cardiac, nervous and musculoskeletal tissue.

Recommended for: Increasing energy, boosting metabolism and athletic performance.

Zinc

The Prosper, Immunity, Migraine Relief, Quench, 4 the Men

Zinc plays a strong role in building a healthy immune system. Multiple reliable studies show the strong role Zinc plays in decreasing the severity and length of infection with COVID-19. Zinc also plays multiple roles in protein synthesis, wound healing, DNA synthesis, and cell division.

Recommended for: Boosting immunity for preventive health as well as at the onset of an illness.

B12 (Methylcobalamin)

B12 is an essential precursor for the production of ATP, the body’s energy source. It is required for proper red blood cell formation, neurological function, cell metabolism, and DNA synthesis.

Recommended for: When you’re feeling fatigued or feeling run down. B12 is a must for vegetarians or those who consume very little meat, after periods of heavy alcohol use, and for extra metabolism support. Get a B12 boost in your arm or add it to your drip!

B12 MIC

B12 combined with Methionine, Inositol, and Choline

Methionine is an essential amino acid that helps the liver maintain the optimal ability to process fatty acids. Inositol is a sugar-like molecule found to decrease the production of triglycerides and body fat. Choline, usually classified as a B vitamin, is involved in energy production and support of metabolism.

Recommended for: Weight loss and increased energy.

Lipo Mino

A specially formulated mix of lipotropics—aka fat burners—these ingredients all help turn fat into energy and also act as antioxidants. Lipo Mino is comprised of MIC B12 (see below) and B-complex vitamins, as well as choline and carnitine, which also aid in converting fat to energy. Helps curb appetite and burn fat in conjunction with diet and exercise.

Recommended for: When trying to lose a few pounds or maintain weight.

Toradol

Like a super strong Tylenol, this non-steroidal, non-narcotic anti-inflammatory medication is just what prosperIV® medical director Dr. Annie would order for quick pain relief.

Recommended for: Post-workout soreness, post-surgery recovery, and post-injury pain.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C decreases the duration and severity of cold symptoms, increases immunity, helps produce collagen for healthy skin, and aids in removing free radicals from the body through its antioxidant properties. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Recommended for: Part of COVID prevention, for overall health and wellness, during cold and flu season, before you travel, and at the onset of illness.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is needed in order to absorb calcium from food and supplements we ingest.  Vitamin D helps build strong bones, boosts the immune system, and helps with regulating mood and warding off depression. The only fat-soluble vitamin offered at prosperIV®, our bodies store this vitamin, so too much can be a bad thing. Our Medical Director, Dr. Annie will check your Vitamin D levels if you’d like consistent injections for various conditions.

Recommended for: Cold and flu season to stay healthy. Fights depression and seasonal affective disorder.

Zofran

Zofran is a strong and quick-acting anti-nausea medication. You can get it as a shot in your arm or add it to any drip.
